If what is being leaked out is true than the current offer on the table is 6 years/$90 million. He's an absolute beast who is only 25 years old with his best years ahead of him. But his quotes from last night are certainly a concern. I'm cautiously optimistic we will come to terms with him soon, but the longer this goes on the more contentious it could become.

Yea... Preseason means nothing. Ask the 08 Lions. 4-0 in the preseason. 0-16 in the regular season.

That said, I do get the feeling the Falcons will win the NFC South this year though. That division is by far the hardest to predict.

Yes, but this is 1st team vs 1st team. The end results don't matter, but the few minutes the first string is in do give good indications. Offense and defense playing well.

I assure you it still means nothing... and I'm not saying that because we got stomped. We suck. So do the Jets. Our OL is still the worst in the league, and our defense looks to still be pathetic.

There have been times where we've blown away teams in the preseason (1st team vs 1st team) and then sucked in the regular season. And then there have been times where we've been blown away in the preseason but had a great regular season.

It's not really indicative of things to come.

Actually they kinda don't. Some players take the time to improve a part of their game they think they are deficient in during this offseason and preseason. So it should be taken with a grain of salt.

IMO afc north is the hardest - i could see anyone but the browns winning while nfc south is down to only saints or falcons.

I think the Panthers have an infinitely better shot than the Saints.

It's about even with the NFC South... But the main difference with the NFC South is that none of the teams are very good. So it's another situation where an average team will make the playoffs. Steelers, Ravens, Bengals are all better than every team in the NFC South as of right now IMO.

AFC North will probably take 11-5 to win. NFC South will probably take 8-8 or 9-7 to win.
