NFL HQ said this morning that both teams' headsets were getting the radio broadcast by mistake.

Raiders signed OLB Aldon Smith, formerly of the 49ers, to a one-year contract.

Raiders is the place where former 49ers players go to die.

Isn't he looking at a suspension?

Seriously? Between this and "RadioGate" this type of fishing for something to complain about needs to stop. No rule, no penalty. In regards to the radio, the NFL controls them. I'm more disappointed in Mike Tomlin's press conference than the way the Pats handled DeflateGate.
According to the NFLs rules, home team supplies the radios.

Don't even get me started on the unwritten rule that the center shouldn't eat Mexican food within 48 hours of game time and what that does to the smell of the game balls.

Like Tomlin/Pittsburgh has room to complain about defective radios!
Maybe if Tomlin tripped Gronk a few times the game would've been closer.

"HeadsetGate".

I guess if you can't win, you can always hate!

Plenty of stories from last night's game:

Quote:
NFL security is investigating Pittsburgh Steelers tight ends coach James Daniel for allegedly assaulting and verbally accosting a New England Patriots fan on the way to the locker room before halftime Thursday, according to league sources.

A league official confirmed the NFL is aware of the incident and is looking into it. A Steelers spokesman said NFL security has informed them about the incident and the team is also investigating.

The incident in question occurred before and after halftime of the Steelers' 28-21 loss on Thursday night. Daniel, who was on his way to the Steelers locker room, was seen allegedly kicking a Patriots fan in the back of his leg and yelling at the fan in front of witnesses.

Dick LeBeau is 26-3 against rookie QBs.

Wish we weren't down two starters on defense for this game, but I have faith in LeBeau. Tampa's OL is awful. And if Mike Evans doesn't suit up, they're toast. Of course, Doug Martin may very well run all over us.

Aldon Smith is apparently in great shape. Should play opening day lining up with Mack.

What a great game to be at last night. The atmosphere was just something i have never been a part of before and i have been to some big games. Football is back baby.

Easley going down scared me..but will only be out a week or two.

If Gronk stays healthy again all year...i say he comes close to his TD for TE record again if not 1-2 more. I think the addition of Chandler will help his case actually

lol here's all the coaches saying it happens everywhere and even in their own stadiums

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-networ...eadset-scandal

but i guess the patriots just wanted to make a statement opening day and cheat in front of everyone

maybe mike tomlin should take some responsibility for leaving gronk wide open and do something about it, maybe he could get out there and trip him

Steelers made too many mistakes to win that game.

Floyd Reese said it happens in every stadium... And that Pittsburgh is actually one of the worst places for communication problems because of all the boaters (using radio) nearby.

Tomlin is just butthurt that his defense sucks now. Thanks for handing us LeBeau, bud.

I mean it's really pathetic for him to single out the Pats for an issue that happens everywhere. Your fault for not preparing your team for these possible moments...

This is also coming from the coach who deliberately tackled Jacoby Jones and prevented him from scoring a TD. Yea... Great guy. Also way overrated as a coach. Took over Cowher's team and has only made a couple good selections in drafts here and there.

Not 100% sure my sarcasm came across in my post lol, I was being far from serious suggesting the radios had anything to do with the Steelers losing the game.

Can't be too sure with all the cheating rhetoric. I bet some think the Pats somehow made it rain only when the Steelers were on offense.
