And the real telling stat here: give/take

GB is +6, Dallas is a league worst -14

Of course, upsets can always happen.
Thanks! I just wanted to talk a little bit of football before doing a conference call.

Wish Romo was playing, though, people give the guy a lot of crap, but IMO he's a pretty good QB. It's Jerry Jones' fault his team only has one playoff win in the last 20 years.

Here's hoping for an exciting game, every time these two teams play it's always good and exciting just like in the playoffs last season.

Cowboys 17 - 24 Packers

EDIT: Just finished fooling with 2015's NFL Playoff Machine and LOL the Titans can still win the Division.

I have no idea if Jerry Jones would be willing to fire Garrett after the season and pay Garrett a huge buyout. Sean Payton will likely be available in some way this offseason and Dallas could appeal to him as his ex-wife and kids live in the Dallas area, but it'd be awful expensive to pay Garrett's buyout plus $8 million per year for Payton.

That would be admitting that he was wrong and Jerruh the GM would never do that. Not to mention, Payton has too big of an ego and wouldn't succumb to JJ's antics.

TitansFan4Life,

Other than the recent TNF game, I've not watched any TEN games this season...who do the Jets need to watch out for this Sunday (I'm being serious here)? As a NYJ fan, I can't overlook any NFL team...

I'd watch out for Jurrell Casey and Wesley Woodyard if I was the Jets offense.

Titans have a decent from 7 defensively. It's their secondary letting them down.

Source - http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12...er-neck-injry/

Quote:
Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams said it was "50-50" as to whether his football career was going to continue after suffering a neck injury in October against the Tennessee Titans.

Williams underwent surgery in early November to treat the injury, which he initially suffered in Week Two against the New England Patriots. After missing two games, he returned in Week Five to play against Tennessee. He was reinjured early in the game, but returned to the lineup and eventually played 60 of 69 defensive snaps. The Bills placed Williams on short-term injured reserve the following week.

"It was too real – to where I had to start thinking about what I wanted to do afterwards," Williams said of the possibility that his playing career could be over. "I knew I had a few things, but I didn't think it would be coming, this time, this soon. So I always told these guys, don't take any of this time, don't take advantage of it. Always fight, work hard, because you never know ... when this day, your football career ends. It can always end in one play."

The procedure Williams had was a success, and Williams' rehabilitation took a big step forward Wednesday when he returned to the practice field. He won't play Sunday against Philadelphia, and the outlook for the three remaining games after that is still up in the air, but Williams said just being able to practice again is a "huge step."

"Coming from not feeling your whole left side to maybe not playing the game again to being able to move the neck, then being able to work out, and then have the opportunity to be out there on the field – it's definitely an experience that I will never forget," he said.
As much as we all love this game, football can be a scary world sometimes.

On offense Mariota and Walker are all we have. You could keep an eye on DGB to see if he can build off last week's performance, but I'm not holding my breath.

On defense, the entire front 7 deserves attention. Mainly Casey, Orakpo, and Williamson, but Woodyard and Jones have played well too.

Just throw at Sensabaugh and Wreh-Wilson all day.

I hate this matchup for Mariota. We have nothing at WR, and Revis should be back. Could be a rough day.

Also Marshall/Decker should slaughter our secondary.

I still can't believe Navster is supposedly dead after recent brain surgery, it would definitely explain his recent and sudden absence.

Seems like just about everyone forgets that. Broadcasters always credit Ray Horton. Technically he still holds the DC title, but LeBeau runs the show.

That's why we have a top 10 ranked defense this season after being bottom 5 last year with Horton calling the shots.

That's just one, of several, reasons I would expect GB to win this game.
They most likely will win the game but as I said GB hasn't been playing well and 10 days rest can also go the other way like rust. Sometimes it's better for a team to be in rhythm and not have too much rest.

It's 100% serious, it's been all over his fantasy threads and the NBA forum, it seems someone has opened up an RIP thread for him as well in General Chat.

Wth were the Vikes thinking? Other than that last play was a good game.

What's this about Nav? Has it been confirmed? Hope it's not true.

Bridgewater has no pocket presence yet.

Not yet but it seems pretty possible, definitely sad news if it turns out to be confirmed.

Cool, thanks for the scouting report.

In that case, your front 7 might have a field day against our aging OL, we're a mess this season.

As far as Revis, he's not yet been cleared.
