Last week I decided to bench Aaron Rodgers in favor of Tyrod Taylor. My fellow fantasy players gave me so much flak for that move. Hilarious that he outscored him in the end.

What's even more amusing is that I will again bench Aaron Rodgers in favor of Tyrod Taylor. Difference this week is the start of the playoffs. I think Tyrod vs the abysmal Philly D will net me more points than Rodgers vs the Cowboys. I see a 14-12 game.

I see Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Richard Rodgers and James Jones going off against us. Cobb in particular, Ty Patmon is nowhere near the caliber of slot corner that the injured Orlando Scandrick is.

You think Rodgers crushes this week?

I think it's kinda a toss-up but I will say this. Rodgers probably has the biggest arm in the NFL, unless Byron Jones is on his game, Morris Claiborne is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree. Still not sure why Cowboys fans like him so much, he refuses to tackle and he has a horrific tendency to get burnt in big situations. Be a good game for Hardy to play like he did earlier this season and Crawford to play like he deserves that new contract. Taylor is definitely the safe pick but A-Rod could pay off big, even in a game that probably won't be a shoot-out. Green Bay has the weapons to beat us, question is whether or not A-Rod will get them the ball.

All they need to do is watch the tape of the Lions and the Bears visiting Lambeau this year. Heck, any game over the last 6 games, they'll see Rodgers under tons of pressure and the receivers having major troubles getting open.

I'm not falling off the bandwagon or anything, but I never feel confident against any opponent that the Packers face home or away.

The Cowboys over the past couple of years have been a stellar road team, with the exception of the backup QB's playing. I wouldn't rule them out at all.

Both teams are coming off horrible games with "squeak by" wins, they are both likely very pumped and on an adrenaline rush. Question is...who runs out of adrenaline first on Sunday afternoon?

I will say the 80% chance of rain levels the playing field a bit, hopefully it will lead to some takeaways for a defense that could really use some.

Matt Schaub is about to tie his own record for 4 straight games with a pick six. He has thrown a pick six in his last 3 games.

NFC East only division to have a different division winner each of the past 4 seasons. Each team has also led the division at some point this season. Still up for grabs even for the Cowboys

Still not as good as the worst-to-first NFC South that happened until the Saints and Falcons got good. And still no team repeated until Carolina last year (and now 3 straight)

The Packers haven't exactly been lighting it up in Lambeau lightly or anywhere else for that matter lately.

10 days rest for GB vs 6 days for Dallas.
That's just one, of several, reasons I would expect GB to win this game.

Jerry Jones called out the Cowboys coaching staff for being unable to win without Tony Romo:

Quote:
“I am stunned that we haven’t been able to win more games without Tony,” said Jones, who signed Garrett to a five-year, $30 million extension last offseason.

“And I would have thought that we could have coached it up enough, and put it together enough, that we would not have lost those games without Romo early. We would be in better shape than we are right now.”
I have no idea if Jerry Jones would be willing to fire Garrett after the season and pay Garrett a huge buyout. Sean Payton will likely be available in some way this offseason and Dallas could appeal to him as his ex-wife and kids live in the Dallas area, but it'd be awful expensive to pay Garrett's buyout plus $8 million per year for Payton.

Sure!

1) Homefield
2) GB has an elite QB, Dallas does not
3) GB giving up 19.8pts/game, Dallas giving up 23.2
4) GB scoring 24.1pts/game, Dallas scoring 18.6

And the real telling stat here: give/take

GB is +6, Dallas is a league worst -14

Of course, upsets can always happen.

Never bench Rodgers... Count your blessings that this strategy worked for you this week and go back to Rodgers. Most weeks benching Rodgers is a mistake. .

As for Cobb, he has solidified a bench spot on my team. Luckily I have solid WRs so it won't matter. Dez is also on my bench, but that's not his fault.
