Exactly! If they do win the Superbowl they better give him one cause he's the reason they're there. And the smith hate will continue and get booed again.

Another shitty superbowl of who gives a damn!

What an idiotic delay of game by NY to push them back 5 yards.

Of course Jim Harbaugh doesn't look at the coach to shake hands when he losses.

Eli actually got outplayed by Alex Smith. Way to go Kyle Williams, you are the best player the Giants have.

*EDIT* Actually, Flacco out played Brady too. Both QBs who had worse individual statlines advanced today.

I wouldn't either... Have you seen those orc's in Lord of the Rings... I'd be terrified to touch Coughlin

I miss Tom Coughlin so much.

Glad he's going to the SB again.

The 49ers were a good team. But they took a football to the knee.

Smith is just terrible, two catches by Davis aside he put up less than mediocre numbers and deserved to lose. 2007 rematch on the day before my birthday!

Awesome, a Super Bowl between two teams I hate. Rooting for the Patriots because I hate them the least isn't exactly a big motivation.

Worst QB today IMO was probably Tom Brady.

Eli threw about 70 times today, he needs the extra week off to ice his arm so he'll be loose for the championship game.

Eli played much better than Smith.

Flacco did outplay Brady and should have won if his receiver secured a perfect touchdown pass.

If the other guy last week didn't get hurt this would have never happen.

But I guess there always has to be the one screw up moment every year and it had to happen to us.

I actually like Eli and the Giants until they won the 2007 superbowl.

At which point the Eli superlatives started. And have continued in spite of the fact that Eli's stats continue to be bad outside of Yardage, and coincidental stats like game winning drives.

Pro-tip for Sportscasters: All a game winning drive means is you weren't good enough to be ahead prior to that point. :P

Pretty much how I felt about the 2007 Super Bowl but since there's less on the line this time I'll watch it provided my nephew's birthday party doesn't interfere with it.

He got run out of Jacksonville because he was unbelievably awful at picking talent. Had he not been de-facto GM in addition to coach I'll bet he would have been with the Jags for far longer.

Eli did not play better than Smith. The Giants ran way more passing plays, but Eli's passing yards/passing play was awful today.

*EDIT* And twice the 49ers HAD the interception but stopped themselves.
