lol were every fa's worst option. I think he's shown he wants the dollar bills more than he wants to win otherwise he'd have stayed in Indy. But I'm betting if he can take a small hit in the pocket and go to a better team, he'll do that over coming to a team like ours, where his only incentive would be $$$.

This will leave the AFC South as the Texans to be the favorites. I just hope the Jags get the QB situation. Playing solid defense with a great RB, but our Offense is what has set us back for almost a decade.
Peyton to the Jags would make a lot of sense. Gabbert could sit behind him for 2-3 years and learn what to do. They could use their first rounder on a WR and they already have one of the best RB's in MJD. Plus he would get to whup on the Colts twice a year guaranteed.

I still think he'll land in Washington or Miami though.

Knowing the Skins luck with free agents I could see Peyton signing there with a huge bonus and showing up at training 30 pounds overweight and in terrible shape.

True, the Redskins are the worst out of the realistic options, but you have to include them based on money. I think Seattle is better than a lot of people think and could be a contender for Manning. They've been linked to Mario Williams, so if those rumors are true, then they should have no problem staying in a potential Manning bidding war as long as he checks out medically. I would consider them the 4th best option.

Any of those teams could easily turn their team around just by signing Manning, not to mention their high draft picks and other available free agents.

If Peyton were to come back even close to his pre-injury level of play I really think almost any of the teams mentioned could be legit contenders. I mean just look at the difference between Indy with Peyton and without him. Not saying his impact would be as immense with another franchise, but it would be big. Of course that's assuming he can play close to his pre-2011 level, which is hard to say and maybe even doubtful.

that guy gets out some stories pretty early. Said last leek Peyton was gone for sure, got a good amount of franchise tag news out early. Last year he broke some stories, the guy isn't family friendly, but if you wanna follow someone for sports rumors, take a look at this guy.

Adam Schefter follows him haha.

Force.....hockey players are the toughest (tougher than football). Plus the playoff run is hands down the toughest in sports. Smashing and banging for 2 months to lift the Holy Grail (The Stanley Cup) above your head and drink countless beers from.

From earlier tonight: my boy Jay Rosehill feeding Bruins tough guy Shawn Thornton...part of the game...a Great part.

According to SportsNOLA.com, free agent Randy Moss ran a forty time in the 4.39 to 4.40 range at Tuesday's Saints workout.
It's an impressive feat for a 35-year-old wide receiver who goes 6-foot-4 and change, and weighs in the 200-210 pound range. The Saints' flirtation with Moss sends a strong message that they do not expect to re-sign free agent Marques Colston. Moss is scheduled to meet with two more teams next week, and Tuesday's forty time could attract even more clubs after the news spreads.

lol and walking to the locker room he trips over an old rotten sub haynesworth left and breaks his neck. Then we find out the Redskins gave him money even if his neck goes bad again

See the problem with that is the same I attribute to McNabb, it was the system and years of solidifying a system around him that makes his loss hurt so much. And while some of it is his playing ability I'd say as a whole its more of that.

System QBs can still be really good, Brady is a system QB as far as I can tell and Montana was one too and they're both top 5 all-time QBs.

It would but knowing the Jags, they wouldn't pay for him. We could of picked up some big names over the years but we passed on them. Besides, I don't think Manning would like to play with our weak offensive line.

I like the Peyton to Houston thought, with Houston shipping Shaub off to Washington in exchange for a 1st or maybe two 2nds.

Shefty thinks the 'final 4' are Miami, Washington, Kansas City, and New York (Jets).

I think the Jets would be scary if they got Manning and he performs even close to the way he did pre-injury. The Jets have a very good defense, a great offensive line, and decent receivers and running backs. The one thing they've been missing the last 3 years is an elite quarterback. The one reason I'm not sure if Manning would want to go to the Jets is playing outdoors in a cold city. He's never had to play a lot of cold weather games and in the AFC East he'd be playing a lot of late season cold weather games.

On a side note, if Manning signed with Miami he'd have to play at Indianapolis and if he signed with the Chiefs or Jets he'd have a home game against the Colts.

I really hope Miami signs him. I think we would easily be a playoff team with him.

Seems 2 AFC East teams are more than interested. This will rekindle the Manning/Brady battles twice a year.
