In the end it was just bad luck with injuries that caused this to happen. If this were any other year the Colts would either trade the #1 pick or draft a QB who would sit behind Peyton for a couple seasons. But with Andrew Luck in the draft they had to do this. That's football. No player ever has a completely safe job.

Jacksonville is far below the salary cap heading into 2012. Come on Peyton. Hey... I can dream, can't I? Doesn't the team payroll floor kick in this year, forcing teams to spend more? I think Tampa Bay is still by far the lowest in the league, tens of millions under the cap.

That report didn't come out until after I posted it wasn't on rotoworld, ESPN, or NFL.com when i posted that lol so by all means I have no idea ho you got the official word that fast

High - Washington, Miami, Kansas City
Medium - Seattle, Arizona, NY Jets, Denver
Low - Dallas, Minnesota

We knew it was coming, it's going to be tough at first to see Manning in a different uniform, but I hope he resurrect his career.

This will leave the AFC South as the Texans to be the favorites. I just hope the Jags get the QB situation. Playing solid defense with a great RB, but our Offense is what has set us back for almost a decade.

I still like the Dolphins and Cardinals as his best options. After those, I like the Chiefs, Seahawks, and Redskins.

If Peyton wants to actually compete for a championship I think Washington is his worst option. Arizona is a decent possibility. They finished a solid 8-8 and that was with Kolb and that horrible stiff John Skelton at QB. Miami would probably work well too.
