I've ordered a 10 pack yesterday per your feedback of 1 Call Outlet,
and received today..... a 10 pack of TOTALLY GENERIC cases..
doesn't even have the blu ray logo, and is box shaped (sharp edges).

Definitely not vortex cases, either.
I would be careful about ordering from them expecting vortex cases.

I'll just say this about Casetopia...they say that their cases are new, but you can obvious tell that they're used recycled cases from the sticker residue and marks all over the clear plastic.

I'm looking for a couple standard seven-disc cases. I dropped my copy of Lost season 1 and broken the hinge and my used copy of Star Trek season 2 came repacked into a six-disc case with the last disc in a paper sleeve. No one seems to sell cases for more than six discs.

Anyone here use the dual blu ray cases that hold two blu rays and make your own combo packs? Because of late I figured I had alot of movies on both Bly Ray and Dvd and that would be saving me space wise. Plus if I take the blu ray to someones house and they only have a dvd player, I can just play that instead.

Huh? I've ordered a few times and this hasn't happened.

Ordered 25 single and 25 double of the Viva Elites from Discmakers, and they arrived in about six days, after order was placed, very well packaged. Looking forward to getting rid of those ugly Blockbuster DVD cases!!!

I don't think there is anyone that actually keeps those blu rays in those ugly cases. Or atleast ones who care about BR's.

Yep! I discovered this idea here a few months ago.

Best Buy has a 10-pack of Dynex (house brand) double cases for $13, SKU: DX-BR10. They're great quality, indistinguishable from Viva Elites, IMHO. And, of course, there's Disc Masters.

So, I have my Ferris Bueller DVD with the John Hughes commentary in with the Blu, which doesn't have it, in my own combo pack. Then I store the DVD case and art in case they ever come out with a SE Blu or something and I have a single Blu left over to replace cracked or "veiny" cases.

Other "Kristian Idol combos" , all to retain special features, I think:

Aliens
Blue Crush
Fifth Element
La Femme Nikita
Leon: The Professional
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Stir of Echoes
Transporter

But, of course, if the DVD has great packaging or more than one disc, I'll keep both on the shelf:

Die Hard Five Star Collection
Sixth Sense VISTA
Tombstone VISTA
Usual Suspects (plastic sleeve)

Collecting!

Yeah I got a set of those Dynex cases recently from BB, great value. I got them to replace the cases I had with those annoying side snaps that Disney and Sony use. I like your idea of keeping the DVD's in with the Blu cases for missing special features, etc. I may have to try that sometime.

Default Star Trek TOS Repacks

That happened to me! I bought S1 and S2 "Like New" on Amazon Martket from ExpressMedia / Source Media Group and they both came in 6-packs with a paper envelope and without the sleeve. So they're obviously returns or repacks from damaged 7-pack originals.

So I returned both of those and bought one from NorAm International on eBay. And what showed up? A 6-pack plus envelope! From ExpressMedia / SMG! For all we know, maybe you have the same case, third time around!

I've even seen weird "complete" Star Trek TOS shrinkwrapped at Fry's and eBay with S1 with sleeve, S2 without and S3 in what looks like a standard case!

No, the only way (IMHO) to buy Trek on Blu is one at a time, actually visualizing the item with a photo. It took 2-3 months, but I have all three seasons in original cases with mint sleeves.

I know that the Dawn Of The Dead Remake dvd has all the features. But the Blu Ray hardly any features on it. I see that with alot of dvds, that have the features, but little to none on the blu rays.

Not sure if this deal was mentioned, but if you're just interested in a short run order, you can get the 10 pack below from Amazon shipped free (w/ Prime or a $25 order total) for $6.50.
http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Repla.../dp/B000U0HRJM

I know many, including myself, started out with a 50 or a 100 pak order averaging less than 35 cents per case while this would be 65 cents per case, but sometimes spending six bucks beats having to fork out $50 more if it's just a short term need.

On the other hand, you can order these dual disc BD cases for about 36 cents each when you order 100 pak, this is after the $4 shipping. Not a bad deal

Just received my order of 50 Viva Elites from Diskmakers, this is the first time I have purchased from them. I'm very happy with the quality, the cases were well-packed and arrived in 5 days.

Thanks to those on this thread who recommended them.

I ordered from meritline a couple months ago. Dissapointed. Blu-ray logo did not have foil on it, spine ends were square and not rounded- they stick out on the shelf. Also 1 case was shattered. Only thing good was the price. I need about 100 of the good quality cases now I guess.

Anyone know what kind this is?

I also ordered 10 "double disc" cases from them and they were good quality with rounded edges- for only a little more money.

Does anyone know where to get the ultra slim one disc replacement case like those that come with the Ultimate Matrix Collection boxset? Think the thinkness of each case is just 1 to 2mm.

The thinnest I have seen are 6mm. I would be surprised if there was anything thinner than that. 1mm is very small...
