Hmm. Really dislike the Amaray Blu cases compared to the Elites. I really wish they would start carrying UltraHD Blu-ray cases instead. Quote:
I've pretty much replaced the cases in my entire collection (which is a thousand plus by the way) with Elites so have plenty of Vortex cases left over. The artwork for an Amaray will actually fit in a Vortex case if you know how to slip the cover sheet in juuuust right so it doesn't bubble or bend. |

Unless you have a great printer, the original still works in a standard Criterion case. Just align it to the bottom. Theres just empty space at the uppermost part of the case.

I found some clear Vortex style cases that hold 3-6 discs while browsing eBay. The 4-6 disc case require the discs to be stacked, so they're not the most ideal, but I figured someone might have use for them. They also seem to have a clasp to hold a flipper tray, so they could even potentially hold up to 8 discs. From looking at the photos, the 3-disc cases appear to be 15mm wide, so they could serve as replacement cases for Arrow releases.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/182021134624 Free Shipping, $1 per unit when purchaed in bulk set of 25: clear, 12.5 mm Viva Elite blu-ray cases, with clear plastic title insert sleeve, all corners are round edges, left inner side has 2 clips to hold leaflet/card insert. Other bulk quantity options are available by the same seller. I just received a box of 25 from that seller (ships from Canada) and they were packaged well. I like these a lot, sturdy and simple, standard size (cover art fits just right), no dumb hinge on the right edge. The center spring clip holds the discs securely, but not too tight, and the cases are solid, no gaping holes other than behind the clips. The more blue cases I swap out with these clear ones, the more I hate the blue color. I'd like to eventually swap my entire collection with these (there are multi-disc options too) save only the Criterion cases (which match, being clear also) and Hobbit/Lord of the Rings black cases (which are hidden in their box sets anyway, and black looks nice too -- better than blue). Edit: The ones I suggested above appear to be the same as the "Viva Elite Clear - 12.5mm" listed in the OP of this thread, and they are about the same price from Casetopia, with shipping. Since Vortex has switched to stackable for their 4-disc cases, does anyone know where I can find the prior version, or something very similar? I need it to be around 14mm, with the double-sided tray and a flat spine. I like the overall look of the Scanavo ones, but they're 22mm thick...

So i need to buy a Viva Elite 7disc case from Europe (shipping to Greece) to replace the broken one that has the Star Trek 50th Anniversary package, any suggestions except the German site that is referred at 1st post?

My blu-ray storage is overflowing, so I've decided to consolidate a bit. I picked up 20 Viva Elite six disc cases, which are almost the same thickness as a regular blu-ray case. I went through my collection and determined what discs I could put together to make a coherent six disc set. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The 1990s Godzilla movies, best of Humphrey Bogart, Buster Keaton features, Ray Harryhausen films, etc... I was able to use all 20 multi disc cases and did away with 100 regular ones. Now I'm making custom covers for the box sets. Now I can go out and buy more movies!

Does Casetopia make exact replicas? I'm looking for a replacement for the case of the 2008 Metropolis Bluray from Bandai Visual. I'm kind of crazy about this, I'd even buy a sealed movie just to swap the cases if they were the same make.

Has anyone been able to find Viva Elite Cear 12mm single disc cases WITHOUT the blu-ray logo for sale anywhere other than the Twilight Time website? Both Casetopia and MegaDiscStore (i.e. their ebay and amazon store fronts) carry the double disc variant and it doesn't have the logo, but their stocks of the single disc cases do have the blu-ray logo.

Does Casetopia ever respond to emails? I send them a query and then a follow up a few months ago and never received any reply. I was ready to place an order but never did since they never replied to my question. I never tried calling them, I wonder if they answer the phone or if it is just an answering machine... |

Passengers UHD comes in a thick 3 disc case, so those do exist, not sure if they are sold anywhere though.
