Vortex eco cases are the worst cases ever. Now they have those dumb cases where you can stack two discs on one hub.

They do make excellent projectiles though.

Actually, the only Vortex cases with the latches are used for up to 2 discs; all the rest don't have them. As for my preference, I prefer Vortex cases over Viva. Yes, the multi-disc Vivas are thinner, but they're also more expensive at many sites. Also, since I design covers as a hobby, thinner cases means less room for a spanning spine set.

I much prefer the Vortex eco cases to the Elite ones. I really hate that gigantic holes. If they just used small holes, like on Nintendo 3DS cases, then it'd be sturdy. Instead they continue to use holes big enough to fit a child's fist through.

What's this about the two discs on one hub?!

Not sure if you bought The Fox and the Hound but that release has the "roommate" hub. Two DVD's were stacked on top of each other. So actually you can put 4 discs in a two disc sized blu case.

That's what i have a thing layer of platic, but yet the embossed logo's at the top. I hate the ones that just look like a marker was taken to the top of the cases.

Do the Viva Elite cases from Discmakers have holes in them? I thought they sold Eco cases under a different name and style.

The Viva Elites sold by Discmakers do not have holes in them.

Is scanavo a joke or something? Their stuff looked cool but I couldn't figure out how to order it.

Amazon

I ordered 10 replacement cases from 1 Call Outlet on Amazon, and they were Vortex cases! I was very nervous from the bad reviews, but they were perfect!

You may want to check right here.

As far as I know, Casetopia's been selling the single-disc Scanavo brand for a few months at least.

thanks for the heads up!

If you say is true and Casetopia had these for months then someone must have purchased these and could tell us if they are quality cases in comparison with the Vortexes and Viva Elites of the world.

I have a question. I purchased 2 sets of blu-ray cases from amazon and one of the sets came was pure trash but the second set was good quality, had the raised blu-ray logo painted silver and there was a latch on the side of the box that locks it in place. Anybody know what kind of case that is?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Thank you! I have been searching for a couple hours and looking for pictures that were clear enough for me to tell, but was impossible to find. Now all I have to do is find a cheap place that sells those.

On a side note, I took some pictures of the case I was talking about.

Yep, that's definitely a single-disc Vortex case. Casetopia sells them in packs of up to 100, but the shipping can be a little much. Really good service, though.
