Don't know much about this process of speculation, but to say Billy Wilder is under represented is an understatement and also - there are too few Spanish language films in the collection - especially after that streak of great films that came out around the turn of the century.

yeah.. with 36 Kurosawa films in the collection (more than any other director,) Criterion has a habit of sticking its middle finger up at you.

I much prefer when they announced things I *haven't* heard of. Then I get to learn about films that I might love, and didn't know existed before. What could be better than that?
