Never once blamed an entire generation. Asked a question if this was a new thing now, because it sure as hell never was before. And, no, that's not the first time I've seen the Brando hate lately, either. So, it's not just one random poster.
Never have used that snowflake term, either. Wrong, fellas. |

Oh God. Yes, please! What a boxed set that would make.
I don’t understand why Top Hat, especially, has never found its way onto blu. Ginger Rogers is one of the most talented women to ever grace the Silver Screen, and she is woefully underrepresented on blu-ray. |

I did a little jig when I saw more Barbara Stanwyck being added to the Collection.
Now if Criterion would just upgrade The Lady Eve, and grab Stella Dallas and Ball of Fire. |

One thing Criterion usually does very well are the short description write ups on their movies. However, there is one they did for December that's lazy and specious at best. It's something a lesser label would stoop to doing. I'm not going to call it out by name (mainly because I'm not going to get into a debate because it's divisive) but you can probably guess.
2018 was an exceptionally strong year. I'm going to pivot the data and have something visual to share soon. |
