Right click on an image and select "Copy Image Address"

In the body of your reply, select the "Insert Image" button:

Paste the image address URL in the box where it instructs you.

Select "OK".

When you go to an individual title here on the site there will be a number code in the URL (Example: “All That Heaven Allows” is 99404); copy that number and when you do hit “post reply” instead of “quick reply”. In the options will be “[BD]”, highlight the number and click “[BD]”.

Just picked up Sisters, I Knew Her Well and preordered The Magnificent Ambersons.

I wasnt going to get the Bergman set since I already own all of the stand alone editions BUT at that $149.99 50% off price Im thinking HECK YEAH! I prob could sell all my other Bergmans and get close to $100.

Saying that... I would love to see a Showa set from CC. Crappy G films and all, how I hate those crappy G films in the Showa era. Ugh.. Honestly, I'd kill for them to somehow take away the Heisei series and fix those Toho really didn't do much with those for the BD era.

With Welles' The Other Side of the Wind streaming as of yesterday on Netflix, has there been any discussion anywhere about a BD release?

I have Netflix, but this would seem like an obvious Criterion release.

The indiegogo backers will still get a disk I think but otherwise I’d bank on it being streaming only

I've read elsewhere that the producers said during a Q&A that they were working on a physical release, and had been given free reign by Netflix to do as they wish for it.

His shorts from Mutual and Essenay have been released by Flicker Alley. Some of the Keystone ones are on The Mack Sennett Collection Vol I, I think Cinemuseum said there would be a Volume 2. If there's a Criterion film it would be The Circus, if you search through this thread a lot of are waiting for that one.

Slowly getting caught up with some older Criterion releases that have been on my wish list for some time.

Latest B&N November Sale:

Beauty and the Beast
Wings of Desire
Solaris

I probably should have just added these to my recent Criterion Store flash sale haul in order to collect more of those points

I believe Bogdanovich has a good relationship with Criterion. And a physical release somewhere would seem to make sense for such an historic film (although I've not seen it yet, and have no idea if it is any good

).

The majority of what my Barnes & Noble had was fairly damaged but I did find three great ones, My Man Godfrey, Gilda, and A Matter of Life and Death.
