Plus it just came out a couple months ago. It's not like last May they didn't know they'd be doing 4K at the end of the year, and with the Del Toro film coming out in December I think if they were going to do it in 4K December would've been the perfect month to release that.

I was very proud of myself, I said I would just get the Wong Kar Wai box-set since I've spent so much between Kino and Shout! lately, and I stuck by my promise. I got lucky and realized I had 3 $10 gift cards from being a streaming subscriber that I never used so the total was $77, and I was only $72 away from a $50 giftcard from the rewards program. All in all I'm calling this one a win

In the immortal words of Princess Leia, "it's not over yet." Many times I've patted myself on the back for my self control, only to slink back to my phone or laptop, and place a second order before the sand ran out of the 24 hour glass.

I was pretty good today. But I'm bracing for the Powerhouse Films 5 year anniversary sale. If it hits this week, which it looks like it's going to, that's a big order.

If my wallet had hands, it would throttle me in my sleep.

You're not. For instance, this was their announcement in 2013. The code for 50% off was INGRID.

Home Theater Forum had a post last October that the prior couple of sales didn't require a code; that aligns with my recollection.

Checking back on some threads -- Oct 2018 was the 1st time no promo code was needed. Feb 2018 it was GOLD for anyone with a need to file away useless trivia

You have a very good point and even looking at this thread is causing temptation seeing what others bought. I never thought I would say this, but thankfully pay day is another 10 days away so I have to be good. I might just ignore the forums for the next 20 hours or so :P
