In B.C. that's the case, not for other parts of the country and not for federal employees.

Really depends on the school (or locale) I guess. Apparently some have the Friday off as part of spring recess.

I was gonna say something very similar, LOL.

I've seen them hold up announcements because a holiday was the previous SUNDAY.

I think they'd hold up announcements just to not be late for mid-town Manhattan Happy Hour..... :P

I thought it was right up Criterion's alley; if not them, I thought either Shout Factory or even IFC doing it, themselves, like they are with "Benedetta".

I imported the Czech blu ray way back in May 2020, and the UK Eureka one came out the following November. But, there's still no US release, physically.

BTW, I love the film.

Perhaps they'll announce Pier Paolo Pasolini's "The Gospel According to Matthew" on Good Friday.

Still waiting for "After Hours".....

I guess we’ll get 1 Lynch film (probably Inland Empire), and Drive my car, among this months announcements.

A few months down the line I hope they announce an Akira Kurosawa box set in the format of the Fellini one. I would have preferred they keep releasing the (many) remaining movies but at this rate might take decades, so might as well go straight for a complete box.
