Did they release it before and there was a flaw they had to correct, or was it released by another company and you're assuming Criterion's will be an improvement?

No, they released it as a DVD a long time ago. They've teased a blu ray upgrade (or possibly a 4K).

Hoping for the long elusive "After Hours"
Wouldn't mind "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" or "Bringing Out the Dead", either.

Would love one or more Pasolini titles. Or a Bertolucci.

Been a while since an Oshima.

Always hoping in vain for Kurosawa's "Dersu Uzala".

I hope this is one of those Noon-ish announcement days instead of a 5pm announcement day, LOL.

The announcements seem to have been coming earlier in the day in recent months -- I've begun to start paying attention/refreshing around 11am central.
