That would be a pretty insane lineup lol. I bet they would spread those out IF they had them. The other rumor is Lolita coming to 4K as well.

You're supposed to be staring at the covers for hours contemplating which movie you want to watch before putting them back on the shelf and going to sleep

Woo! Eyes Wide Shut! Saw this in theaters and it blew me away. Does anyone know what version it is?

This is an incredible month.

Breakfast Club 4K and House Party 4K, what a double bill. Two films that are beloved and iconic, especially for those of us who grew up in the '80s and '90s.

The caps Criterion posted from EYES WIDE SHUT look lovely! If they don't find a way to f*ck up the encode, it should be one of the best releases of the year.

The Eyes Wide Shut artwork rules

I hate to double dip but I might grab it and just have 2 copies (the one I have already is in a big Kubrick box set so can't just replace it) since it's one of my all time fave movies, but we'll see. At the very least I'm not dying to get it day 1 or anything but I do like that art, and 4k is appealing

Saying this when one of the titles is EYES WIDE SHUT—which WB refused to release on 4K themselves—is astounding.

Just get the Criterion, the WB BD is ancient AF.

Amazing month in my opinion. Eyes Wide Shut, while expected, is still surreal to finally see announced. Also loving the fact that we are getting both a John Hughes, and a Howard Hughes movie in the same month. I'm not sure how anyone could say this isn't a huge month with the titles included here, plus the Kiarostami 17-film BD set.

Eclipse Series 47: Abbas Kiarostami, Burden of Dreams and Él are the highlights for me in November.

Per the announcement email, the only Digipak in the group is Burden of Dreams. Eyes Wide Shut is in a standard case

I'm happy to be in the minority on this one, but I love the EWS art. I remember when the movie came out thinking that the official poster looked rather generic bc they were trying to capitalize on having Cruise and Kidman in the same movie, not to mention an erotic thriller. The "new" art (which I know his wife and daughter designed) is actually conceptual and evocative. I love it.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but with the exception of EWS and breakfast club, and El (which seems to have a HD release in France and Japan, so it’s new to disc in US), all of these are new to HD, right?

The Breakfast Club I have this film on DVD so this will be a major upgrade over that
Hells Angels I love Howard Hughes flicks so this is a must buy for me. Also Harlow died so young she was only 26 years old when she died, and never managed to break through in Hollywood, which is really sad.
Jean Harlow was a huge star in Hollywood. In fact, "Hell's Angels" was her breakthrough film. She appeared with Cagney in "The Public Enemy," which led to her contract being bought out by MGM from Howard Hughes. After that, she regularly appeared as the lead in A-list films with the likes of Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, William Powell, Spencer Tracy, etc.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB already got a Criterion BD sourced from the 4K restoration years back, this is just a 4K upgrade.

Anyway, I'm now predicting DOG DAY AFTERNOON for December 2025, unless Criterion doesn't have it and Arrow or Shout got it.

"Additional anniversaries" means WB had no plans to release a 4K themselves in 2025. My case rests.

And those other films already have 4K discs.
