That's what I hear...he's a New Yorker and does some good/interesting animation. I love his stuff and it's been included in The Animation Show when it tours the US.

Happy for those that are region B challenged...but it will have to be spectactular to even shine the shoes of the region B version that MoC released. Just wonderful!

Just a heads-up that Bicycle Thieves, Persona, and Haxan (different spellings) are listed twice under the 1 vote list.

Also, both Spoorloos and The Vanishing are listed separately.

This. I noticed that too.

Also, poor SB, he was right, Badlands is at the top of the list.

Good catch. I haven't gone through the listing to pick out alternative spellings yet. The unique list is created with Excel's Advanced filter so it naturally saw them as different. I'll get to them eventually.

Could you add new individual votes for Ashby's The Last Detail, Truffaut's The Bride Wore Black, and Villeneuve's Maelstrom, plus another vote for both Dead Ringers and Z? Thanks!

Count me in!
By the way I'm thinking of canceling my Criterion.com order from 2/15. I wanted to spread out my CC purchases, but seeing as April is coming up, should I wait for the Amazon sale, that is if there's an Amazon sale?

Awesome. For those who haven't seen it, The Iron Giant is an amazing film. I would love to see it on the big screen.

It just gets stranger and stranger...I just checked the total posts link again and Joe Dalek (who went from 4th place to near the bottom of the list) has completely disappeared.

BetaMan...if you can talk about it, do you have any idea what's happened? All of his posts have disappeared and we haven't heard from him...

Maybe he was watching World on a Wire and took it too far....

By the way, I have not heard from Beta in a while either.... This is turning into a Scooby-Doo mystery. I think I can hear Casey Kasem ....

Is it wrong that I'm glad it isn't, and that some of the others that people keep asking about frequently aren't as well, and that they have only one vote (with the exception of Badlands, really 4 votes? Can't we pick something better? I don't think that's the film most people are screaming for)?

I wonder if anyone can guess which ones I picked, besides the most obvious ones.

I was expecting The Game to have the most votes, too.

I voted for about 30 titles (none of which were Badlands) - I'm surprised at how few votes some of the ones I chose have gotten, though.

It'll be interesting to see what the results look like a week from now.

Yeah, I never voted for Badlands, and some of mine actually received multiple votes (most didn't):

The Virgin Spring
Blow-Up
In A Lonely Place
Les hautes solitudes
Le Corbeau
Advise and Consent
The Life And Death Of Colonel Blimp
Ace in the Hole
The Fearless Vampire Killers

I'm treating each week as a fresh poll, so some I might vote for again, , but for the most part, there are new titles I can think up, and several others have suggested that I'm now going to vote for.
