Pretty solid month, though a bit sad to see no upgrade titles. I think we got two with last months' announcements though.

Nightmare Alley is a Fox noir. Maybe a sign Disney will continue to farm out old Fox titles to distributors?

Considering Criterion's notoriety of sitting on licenses they've probably had "Nightmare Alley" for a long time.

I could be wrong but I believe Trances is an upgrade. It says it's spine #689.

That’s not an upgrade though, that’s a title getting its own release from the WCP box set

Only Merrily We Go To Hell for me. A complete surprise; probably my most unexpected upgrade in recent memory. Usually I'm waiting for months or years!

I'm not excited by this month. It's fine. I'll find other things to fill the diminishing space on my shelves. Probably a good time to think about picking up I Wanna Hold Your Hand.

Flowers of Shanghai is a major one. Haven't been excited about a title like this in months.

Nightmare Alley for the win.

I'm afraid to buy Fast Times at Ridgemont High on standard Blu-ray at this point, after Do the Right Thing, but I might dive in anyway.

It's a great movie and one of my favorite movies of 1991. It's one of his more obscure movies because it never got a DVD release in North America. It has been stuck in VHS Hell since the 90s and I had to import the Region 2 DVD to watch the movie.
