Could grab Throw Down, down the road, but nothing right away for me. Can't wait for the sale next month.

Throwdown sounds really good, especially as a fan of Kurosawa, will probably blind buy it

Love and Basketball is one of my all time favorites! Absolutely picking that one up.
Mona Lisa I haven't seen but it looks good!

If I didn’t already have Arrow’s The Long Good Friday/ Mona Lisa/ Apaches boxset, I’d be all over this Mona Lisa release.

Throw Down’s a masterpiece IMO. Might double dip for the new interviews.

Sometimes it's good to be wrong!

I might get the Visconti. I low-key hated the movie when I first watched it a few years back, but the DVD was horrible and I'm paradoxically still intrigued by it.

Also, this is the best batch of cover arts in a long time.

Definitely interested in the Visconti.

And very glad to see Mona Lisa get an upgrade in the Collection. Such a good film.

The Arrow release is fantastic, but I'll double-dip - if only for that cover.

Wonder if we'll now see The Long Good Friday at some point? In my Top 10 all-time.

Throw Down is one of the best Hong Kong films out there. It's my favorite Johnnie To, along with Sparrow (which would also be an amazing addition to the Criterion catalogue). I already have the Eureka edition of Throw Down, but I'm estatic for more people to discover it.

"The Damned" is an absolutely phenomenal film, wonderfully directed by Visconti. I just watched the Eureka disc of "Throw Down" and that film absolutely rules as well, one of Johnnie To's best.

I'm buying The Damned for that cover art alone.

Throwdown? Really? I watched this like what feels a million years ago and thought it was the worst Johnnie To movie ever made.

The covers for Mona Lisa, The Damned, and Throw Down are amazing.

Definitely in for the last two, really excited for The Damned especially. Passing on Mona Lisa because I just bought the Arrow version a couple months ago and passing on Love & Basketball because I already have a completely serviceable, new blu-ray that I recently got at Dollar Tree for a buck.

Solid month.

Woah, I was not expecting a Johnnie To movie to appear in the announcement.

I already imported the older Hong Kong blu-ray of Throw Down, so I probably won't double-dip, unless the PQ is somehow much better or the subtitles are better.
