Usually they will PM BN either from online or in-store prices as a Local Store if it's close enough to you an item is OOS online

Yeah, I'm guessing the only way is if you get the actual manager and they manually override the 10% off or something. Highly unlikely probably.

I didn't bother though, just didn't renew my membership.

I haven't seen any fine print for this sale yet. I'm assuming it won't, but hoping they changed their minds. Virtually any item 30% or more off on sale over the last 6+ months hasn't allowed the member discount to apply, so I'm not optimistic.

I went to my local store yesterday and was told that the 10% off would not work on anything set at fifty percent off or more, so it looks like no dice unless you get a lenient manager.

Just a heads up for those interested in Zatoichi during the upcoming sale: I posted earlier about how it wasn't on Barnes & Noble's site anymore, but a reach out on Twitter confirmed they don't know when it will be available, and a stop at my local store showed 0 inventory in their warehouses (though it seems like you can still "pre-pay" for it at the store, through a vendor not associated with B&N).

Other retailers have also started offering online coupons or scheduling B2G1 sales to try and compete with BN.

My BN sale list is small for now. Might add a few more titles but been spreading my hobby funds around a bit between labels and formats:
