Thanks to those who replied and gave me their opinions on if I should get “Rashomon” or “Throne of Blood” I couldn’t choose so I bit the bullet and decided to get both!

Just finished watching Lady Snowblood for the first time and I really loved it.

I hope Criterion to release on Blu-ray with new 4K/2K restoration the following titles: Heaven Can Wait (1978), Network (1976), The Outsiders (1983), Amadeus (1984), Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Interview With the Vampire (1994),

Any guesses on #1100?

Isle of Dogs possibly? Maybe even on UHD which would be fitting since the movie was announced for UHD then cancelled.

There's a certain RKO film that I think WB will release on their own.

Criterion and Barnes all titles are on sale except preorders. Some preorders work at Barnes, if the disc is coming out during the sale.

Amazon does put all on sale, just price matches some titles.
It was on Barnes. Got a nice group just was really looking forward to getting that blu. Thanks to you all for info on how to check next time.

Isle of Dogs was my guess. Predicted it last month even since I thought we might have seen 1100 then.

If you're referring to Citizen Kane, then I can confirm that Criterion does indeed have the rights to it.

Wow really? Is this inside information you're basing this on, or something else confirmed somewhere?

Hope that's the case. Would love to have that one in the collection.

Then it's a 3-6 year wait for French Dispatch and he gets probably two films done by then.

I got confirmation from someone who is involved with the extras. They have said that they are not sure when it will be released or what format it is going to be released on.

If extras are being produced, it must be in the pipeline, however long that is. 1-2 years would be my guess.

They're going to wait until spine #2000.

Isle of Dogs makes sense. I’m hoping for the same title I hope for every October - Arsenic and Old Lace. I don’t care what the the spine number is, just release. PLEASE. With Bringing up Baby released this week not sure i it makes it more or less likely. I’m also OK if WAC puts it out. I just really want on Blu-ray

Robert Downey Sr. has died.

He's in the Criterion Collection through the Eclipse series.

I really wish Criterion would start releasing their Eclipse sets on BD. Even if they didn't restore them in any way, BDs would be much better than what's out there now. BDs can't be as expensive to manufacture as they once were.

Ghost Dog is enjoyable, I mentioned it before elsewhere but you can back-to-back watch with Deep Cover.
I bought Man Push Cart during the holiday sale last year and watched it a few months ago. Incredible movie. I want Chop Shop as an accompaniment to that film now. I also want to see the director's other movie White Tiger which is available for free (streaming) on Netflix.

I'm going to most likely blind-buy Deep Cover because Lawrence Fishburne and Jeff Goldblum are basically 2 of my favorite actors (out of a whole bunch). Goldblum looks super cool in this one.

I think at least one of them has been given a Blu Ray release in the Collection.

Most of the early Bergman Eclipse and Varda’s Eclipse set are in their respective sets.

Also Putney Swope has a Blu release from Vinegar Syndrome.

The Ascent was an Eclipse release, but I think the OP's point stands. These upgrades are rare.

Of course, there are plenty of regular Criterion discs that need upgrades as well.

Come on, Samurai Rebellion!
