I suspect the plastic case version will appear before way too long. Same for other titles that are temporarily out of print, substitute new case for old case, maybe wackyC some of the older artwork.

If there is anything I've learned about Guillermo del Toro and for a nice guy, he loves his horror films and collecting toys and movie memorabilia especially those that are quite bleak. And glad that Criterion shows his interesting collector's mentality.

But there is something I need to ask all of you which is not really spoiler to the film but he kept apologizing for a film he directed called "Mimic" (Mira Sorvino, 1997 film). Was it a terrible film?

It's abysmal. Crappy script, crappy cgi effects, not a thrill to be found, Mena Suvari's "acting", etc. Avoid

Considering it's probably one of if not the best looking Blu-ray available, from what I heard, I had to pull the trigger on it.
