I've been to the Steelyard quite a few times. The Best Buy there puts out Blus early sometimes. I had Che 2 weeks before it was supposed to come out.

A few weeks ago the misses and I travelled about a 50 mile radius going to every little store we could think of looking for OOP stuff. Came up empty. The Borders in Medina said they had The Third Man CC, but when I got there it was the Studio Canal version.

I'm 3 days past the expected delivery days on both those movies. America Lost & Found is expected to arrive no later than today, according to Ebay and not the seller.

The Steelyard Commons location has been great however.... I've seen a few Criterion's there, but of course I've already owned the ones they had....

I'm not sure how much they'd sell something like "The Third Man" for though..... I'm fairly sure they base their price off of Half.com/Amazon Third party sellers, or some other site..... I remember seeing the girl looking up prices on the internet once when I was there, so they probably use a few sites, and use some standard % added on or taken off....

Actually... come to think of it, before I bought the Neil Young Archives, I went in there several times to see if someone "acquired" one from Best-Buy, and tried to turn around and sell it..... and they never had it, and I asked the girl there if they did get one in used, how much would it be, and she looked up something on the computer, and told me $250, and asked if I wanted them to call me if one came in, and I said "Nooooooo thanks"

I try to even walk down the Blu-ray aisle at Target when I'm with my wife, and I catch heat!

She likes shopping....
She likes watching movies.....
She doesn't like shopping for movies

She has actually never bought a movie that wasn't yoga/work-out related....

With the weather turning colder..... more "nights in" are likely.... so we'll catch up on a lot of the purchases we haven't seen yet.....

I have these AK-100 sets here, just waiting for X-mas time.....I should use them as a T.V. stand or something

I cannot imagine sitting on the AK set like that. I already own all of his on DVD, but I don't recall waiting more than a day to watch anything by him. But a whole box? How many have you not seen before?

The misses and I both carry around lists with us at all times with things to look for. We have a master list at the house and we cross off what we get. The list includes blu rays, soundtracks, movie posters, and collectables.

Who actually watches the movies they purchase? I buy films for the slipcovers and steelbooks.

[Show spoiler]//Sarcasm

On a CC note. I've run out of room for my CC collection. Does anyone have a recommendation for storage? Something reasonably priced and classy looking.

"Cronos" was a rather interesting take on a vampire movie. 46 minutes in to the movie, man... I thought I was going to gag. (btw, the fillm is not scary in a horror way, it's just the context of the scene).

Guillermo del Toro's commentary was quite interesting...especially about "the girl". I'll leave it at that.

Good news on that. I'm confident that this will be a very wise blind buy.

I asked my father what he would love to see from the CC and he said Gotcha! (1985). I can't tell you how many times he watched that on VHS.

Tempting. I would probably consider if I didn't drop cash on The Thin Red Line a couple days ago.
