Well, I hope everyone is thrilled and happy and enjoys the heck out of their November.

But, as I suspected, all that buildup and then nothing for me. Not that there isn't anything great, it's just I have no need. I'm not 4K, don't have 4K, and am not planning on going 4K anytime, soon.

I already have a gorgeous, blu book Warner issue of Malcolm X, one of the greatest films of the 1990s, and Lee's magnum opus.

I already have a perfectly serviceable blu of Daisies.

I have seen, but don't need to own, The Power of the Dog.

I already have the WKW title in my WKW Criterion box set.

And I've had a DVD set of "Infernal Affairs" for many years, but honestly was never crazy for it.


So, a disappointing month for me, personally.

But I hope everyone else is happy.

I take it it will be based on the resto done for the WKW set, so there may still be a reason to keep the original release ala Le Cercle Rouge.
