I would die for an Ozu set

[Show spoiler]Actually, I wouldn't want to die because I won't be alive to watch them

On a side note: A part of me wishes that An Autumn Afternoon will have a change in the color grading. I do genuinely believe that the color grading of the older Criterion DVD is superior to the 4K restoration used for the Blu-ray edition. Some of the screenshots I've seen of the BFI version (Which is different but closer to the Criterion DVD than the Criterion Blu-ray grading) vs. the Criterion (4K restoration) sometimes will show a good amount of blue in the sky while the Criterion restoration will sometimes not show it at all. I don't think Criterion will change that but this restoration has been a bit uncomfortable for me to watch

They could just two two sets, one for the blu rays and one for 4K (which can contain some blu rays, and some 4K discs in SDR if needed).

The Qatsi Trilogy is overdue for a 4K release if possible.

The previous release was based on 2k scans, so a 4k release will probably require fresh scans of the 35mm film elements.

I'm in for either an Ozu or Kurosawa box. I've actually got all of Criterion's individual Ozu Blu-rays, but I'm 100% up for a complete box. Kurosawa obviously has more entertainment value, but Ozu films are always like a warm blanket, just a comfort to watch.

Reminds me of the time I was leaving the theater after a screening of Rear Window.

Overheard: "Hey, that wasn't bad for an old movie!"

Well.... Logic is against your feelings in this case.

It's really a rather simple step to be respectful of other people.

It also amazes me that people who are "against" other peoples personal decisions are always the ones who keep up with who is transgender.

I had no idea who Trace Lysette was, or even Jamie Clayton until the Hellraiser hubub....

Exactly. For some, basic human decency only applies if you're just like them.
