That was awesome! I wish he could do another one that was simply made up of favorites for which he had no connection - although granted, he has a lot of connections. Such an interesting guy.

I know; Apple still doing nothing with their Best Picture winner CODA makes me feel dubious but given his tight relationship with Criterion, I would hope that Scorsese wrote it into the contract or something that they'd do a release for Killers

Paramount was the first logo that played when I saw Killers last night. Maybe Paramount will release a disc after it has premiered on Apple Tv

quick service but my order was well boxed and packed but still 3 of 5 items were damaged. It feels like they just send out damaged items sometimes and it’s not a packaging thing.

Videodrome 4k box looks like someone stepped on it, browning set looks like it was sliced on the spine with a box cutter and my Godzilla set is dented to hell even though it had its own box. I know they are good about replacement parts but it’s still super frustrating

They even stuck one of the blue stickers right on the case. Easily removed that. Took a look at the disc, as I assume that's why it was returned. Just the faintest hint of a surface scratch on it. My OPPO seems to give zero f**ks about scratches, however, and I am sure it will play fine. I keep thinking about that sticker stuck right to the Scanavo and it makes me chuckle a little bit. Bizarre. This happened to anyone else before?
Never with Criterion. However, years ago when I bought Heavy Metal on Blu-ray from BB and unwrapped it, the remainder of the previous wrapper was underneath. My head spun a bit, but it worked and still does.

I got daddy long legs during the flash sale and it finally arrived today. So when I opened it and found there was no disc inside it kind of sucked lol. Has this happened to anyone else ?

These things are done manually, I imagine, someone accidentally closed a case before they put the disc in. Just get in touch and let them know, they should ship you either the disc or a full replacement without fuss.

What I most respect about Uncle Roger is he had time for both. Cries and Whispers and Death Race 2000.

And FWIW I consider his collaboration with Vincent Price on the Edgar Allan Poe adaptations a great artistic achievement.

One of my favorite shows is Seinfeld and it captures that sentiment exactly-In one episode Jerry and Kramer couldn’t wait to see a film called Death Blow while in another, Elaine has to suffer through The English Patient (twice!) “It’s too long, just die already!”

Is this a bit? Roger Corman received an Honorary Academy Award in 2009 "for his rich engendering of films and filmmakers".
