By the way, isn't it usually around this time of year that we get an early box set announcement for November?
4 announcements seems awfully light. I think the likelihood is excellent.

I think something got pushed back to November, the Janus Contemporary releases don't seem to factor into the number of Criterion mainline releases.

In for the Lewtons and Demon Pond. I'll also grab Pandora's Box despite having the MoC edition.

The Criterion extras are great, and it's been near the top of my wishlist since I first borrowed the Criterion DVD from my local library (it was already OOP at that time). So I intend to support this BD release, even if I wasn't patient enough to wait for it

Here is the new poster for The Time Masters. I've never seen the film but it looks gorgeous.

Never heard of or seen these 4 films, but will look into them to see if any of them catch my interest.

Just Demon Pond 4K for me but even that’s a bit of a stretch. Not interested in Pandora’s Box or the Lewton set. I’ll check them out on streaming or something eventually to see if that does anything for me. Fairly weak slate for me, I guess.

Usually it's just nitpicking that will win me over but Criterion's picture looks Faaaaarrrrr superior to Eureka's. Which I can't remember for any other release.

The November one is from Barnes & Noble, but Criterion have their own 24-hour sale in October.

The Lewton set - finally! - wins the day for me but I'll likely be getting them all. Terrific month!

I hope Demon Pond does well enough to open the door for more Masahiro Shinoda films that Criterion has the rights to. Assassination, Double Suicide, Gonza The Spearman, and especially the Under The Blossoming Cherry Trees. They have so many of his films and a lot of them are really good.
