Actually now that you think about it yeah I definitely see them getting individual releases instead as a box set becomes less likely now. I wonder which one of the three titles will get upgraded first I’m leaning towards Stray Dog, but we could also get Drunken Angel first.

I Forgot about Red Beard, and Dersu Uzala although if I have to say which one gets upgraded first I would have to say either Stray Dog, or Red Beard. I’m way leaning towards Stray Dog in this case.

I'm not here to cause a rumpus, just asking for a friend who prefers to limit their purchases to US titles, pay no more than $20 for a Blu or $25 for a UHD title, when on sale of course, as all of these titles will be come November.

The Criterion November releases are pretty solid despite the two BD to 4k upgrades. For me the pick of the litter is Paper Moon.

Do you have the laserdisc list? Although most of the laserdisc list has already been upgraded to Blu-Ray minus a handful of titles.

As there’s some that still haven’t been upgraded to Blu-Ray yet including three Alfred Hitchcock titles, and Dead Presidents.

November is going to be one of the best release months in a long time. Paper Moon is the one I’m looking forward to the most but will also be picking up Scarface and The Shape of Water 4K. Well done Criterion.

The sanctions on Russia will probably prevent Dersu Uzala until the war in Ukraine ends. Personally, I would prefer the missing ones to get a release, though I wouldn't say no to 4Ks of the Kurosawa films.

Hopefully, this includes plenty of Fox films. Wouldn't mind a 4K of Patton.
