Fantastic fleecing of the closet. Big 'Zel!! That was hilarious. Speaking of that...anyone notice how JD and Big 'Zel have the exact same strut. Seriously, check it out sometime. It's pretty cool.

Maybe it's due to the Golden Princess library being freed by Shout! last week (considering there were far lower odds of that happening), and I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment for saying this, but I feel weirdly hopeful we could get PEDICAB DRIVER this year.

So much better, and was actually overseen by Lynch. Also a Fidelity in Motion encode!
Never knew about either one of these. I'll pick up both, even though I already have the Imprint of TSS.

I ended up reselling my Imprint due to both shelf space and $$, but it was initially tempting to keep it for the extras (which I never even ended up watching anyway).

Pretty sure that's the step stool for people that can't reach the higher shelves.

Garth Hudson, the last surviving member of The Band, has died

For those who follow the thanksgiving tradition.

He was always fascinating to me with his wild, unkempt hair and huge beard. The only thing you got from him was through his instruments.

The best detail about him from Robbie Robertson’s book is that he was narcoleptic and would fall asleep at the drop of pretty much any hat.

As Robertson said, he could’ve been playing with a symphony or with Miles Davis, but they were so lucky that he chose to play with them. Rest in piece, genius.

Just when I think I'm done with Criterion...they pull me back in with...Winchester '73. I know there's a flash sale coming up but decided not to wait and grabbed a copy from Atomic. I like westerns.

First-world problems, but is it just my imagination or are these newer Criterion (Scanavo) cases much flimsier than before?

Even though I picked up the Lost Highway Blu-Ray from Kino it doesn’t look as good as apparently the Lost Highway Criterion Blu-Ray. So my question is should I go, and buy the Lost Highway Criterion Blu-Ray plus 4K during the flash sale, or wait for the inevitable Criterion David Lynch box set? Just wondering it’s something I have on my mind currently.

That is a great western I already pre-ordered my copy weeks ago and will be getting my copy on Tuesday you made a great decision trust me it’s an absolutely phenomenal western. I think you made the right decision not to wait on buying it. I’ve got four titles I want to buy during the flash sale one of them is Jojo Dancer as a huge Richard Pryor fan, but the other three I haven’t decided on yet. I’m thinking one of them will be Menace II Society as that film is amazing, but the other two well I haven’t decided on yet.

A lot of good years of viewing have been wasted waiting on those “inevitable” Criterion’s. Plus, the film’s already out there. Your call.
