Well now Thief is my favorite Michael Mann film just finished it just now wow it was amazing. I mean what a debut so now my favorite Michael Mann films are as follows

1. Thief
2. Heat
3. The Keep

Still plan to pick up and watch The Insider, Ali, Public Enemies, Miami Vice, and The Last of the Mohicans

The Face of Another Blu-Ray feels like it would fit with October. A 4K upgrade of the Hiroshi Teshigahara trilogy set would be even better!

Heat is still my top Mann but Thief is a great movie.

Today should be the day. There is always the odd chance Criterion will delay by a day or two, but I don't think that will happen

I thought about putting House on my predictions list. Not sure if there has been any newer work/restoration done on it, but the crazy/surreal visuals would look really awesome in 4K, so hopefully it happens one day. Also thought about putting Kwaidan on the list for the same reasons.

Since Criterion has been releasing Kurosawa titles in 4k this year as single releases I tend to believe the box set (for now) is not something to consider at the moment. I'm going to predict another 4k release for November. Not sure which title yet.
