I'll probably get all of the titles except Salo. Don't know anything about Identification of a Woman. I'll probably pass. I liked the look of Red Desert, but I prefer a more defined plot and wasn't that fond of the movie. How is this movie in comparison? Last edited by Banned User; 07-15-2011 at 07:44 PM. |

The "Dazed and Confused" page states that the disc will include a director's cut. Is this true? I'm 99% sure that the Criterion dvd was just the theatrical. Could we be getting both cuts via seamless branching?

Quick question: What is the overall feel of The Music Room? What kind of role does the music play in it? Is it mostly drama? Any other elements like suspense, light humor etc... Just wondering what others think about it. |

Music plays a big part in it, but it is not a film about Music. You can say drama.

Plus, you'd think Criterion would have made a bigger deal out of it being a director's cut, right? |

It's okay, but would've picked something with a more 30's-Universal monster feel to it.(Okay, it was Paramount, but it still had Bela Lugosi in it.
![]() It's not THAT artsy for early HG Wells on film. Still, even though they had to improvise the bonus features, with no one around to talk about a 30's talkie, the "Are we not men?--We are De-vo!" interview seemed a bit of a....stretch. ![]() |
