Another B possibility: Beals of Grey Gardens/Grey Gardens double pack, because it was hinted at in the newsletter and it hasn't shown up yet.
Unless they release 2 in the same month...Malle, Fuller, Kurosawa, Soderbergh, Dardenne, Carne, Bergman, Chabrol, etc...

LOL. Well, there is a supposedly new remaster that played back in May at the Hero Complex Festival, with Verhoeven and Weller in attendance. So it's actually more of a possibility than not... but MGM may be sitting on it and just release it when the remake comes out.

True, but Umberto D. Came out this month and wasn't a double De Sica release. I assumed everyone knew about the sometImes double Director months, and I added the usually qualifier.

Criterion doesn't have to play by their own rules every month! I like when they switch it up on us every now and again!

I hope we get an upgrade of something like Z. They recently upgraded The Last Days of Disco. What better time to sneak out an upgrade they should've done a few years ago

I know most Criterion fans would be like "No!!! Robocop is too mainstream!! It's bad enough they put it on LaserDisc and DVD!!! They should release a Kurosawa movie or something artsy!!" but I'm all for a Criterion BD of Robocop!

Ooh, what is it? I'm embarrassed to say it but I only own one Criterion BD so far (and it's a "mainstream" movie, Dazed and Confused. I love playing the hipster card when describing Criterion fans, no offense everyone). I've been meaning to buy Benjamin Button since that one is cheap (Paramount actually distributed it, not Criterion).

I would love for them to bring ROBOCOP, Sid And Nancy, Straw Dogs and the other MGM (or whoever currently owns them) titles they released and are OOP. I own them anyway, but to get them in Criterion Blu would be fantastic.

Or keep me sane for having another blu-ray release of Brazil out before something like Limite gets a release. I'm serious for the ones talking crap about Brazilian films and me requesting them all the time, you don't know what you are missing, and please believe me when I tell you that you will change your mind if you experience Limite (or in my case of requesting Glauber Rocha all the time).

I like the filmmaker (Carlos Diegues) but New Yorker has it and already released a dvd. So I'm cool on that. Hate re-releasing the same stuff over and over when even the "big" titles are still missing on dvd from that Country.

I'm late to the party but is Criterion definitely making their announcements tonight, or will it be tomorrow?
