The game. Wasn't expecting it to be so unrelenting. Plus it was cool to recognize the blonde waitress, she is also in Hurricane. 8/10

Blowout. A friend of mine showed me the beginning in the mid 90's because he said there boobs in it. Even took me a while to recognize that was Nancy Allen from Robocop. A movie I had seen several times. Having seen John Lithgow as the Trinity killer in Dexter made his scenes even better. 7/10

Days of Heaven Beautiful. I've heard the score all over the place it seems. 9/10

Wages of Fear It took me about 4 nights to get through this. I was just so tired from work the first 3 nights. But on the final try I was about 40 minutes in and they were just leaving the town with the trucks. Couldn't stop watching. 9/10

Now after Dexter and Boardwalk tonight I may carefully select another. Not sure which though. I'm thinking "Wings of Desire"

Paris, Texas is flat-out gorgeous (and from a demo perspective, fairly similar to LoA).

I picked a perfect week to go on vacation - planning on tackling the huge pile of unwatched Criterions. I have placed my final orders for blu-rays (ended up with 15 blu-rays and 1 DVD, 1 Eclipse set and 1 DVD box set) planning on buying a few more DVD titles (Eyes Without a Face, Fiend without a Face, Equionex) but waiting until the announcement Friday, just in case.

Looks like the developers did some optimizations and loading is no longer an issue, which is why they merged them.

I think People on Sunday is a slightly better film (though Lonesome is quite good), but with Lonesome you do get 2 other full-length films, both enjoyable in their own right, so there may be a bit more 'bang for your buck' there.
