Anybody ever have a problem with a Criterion case being too small? My copy of Naked Lunch arrived and it looks like the plastic covering on the case was sealed too far inward so when the artwork is inserted, the art is bowed and wavy all over. Is it skinless to get a new case from Criterion?

With the film coming out May 17th, when do you think we'll see Criterion's release of Frances Ha? I'd love to have it before the end of the year, if that's possible. It would be great if Criterion announced their release the 15th of May, just before it hits limited release.
I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade of Kicking and Screaming to coincide with Frances Ha. |

I love 3 Days of the Condor. To me Sydney Pollack is one of those guys who's always knocking on the door of being great without quite getting there and Condor is probably my favorite Pollack film.
It looks great (if like me you think gritty, grimy, grainy 70s New York looks great), it's a competently written story very competently told and the cast is fantastic. And you can buy it cheap now that WB is distributing older Paramount releases. |

Looks like B&N fulfilled some orders today on the recently OOP Studio Canal titles.
I figured I better take a shot on the ones I don't have now before it's too late - Last Year at Marienbad, Army of Shadows, and Leon Morin. Now should I cancel my still-pending Amazon order or just see if it goes through? ![]() |
