I still need to see Exotica but I hear its fantastic. Atom Egoyan is a very interesting director (if Devil's Knot comes out this year, it may be one of the year's standouts) and one whom should be represented in the Criterion Collection.

Brooks is interesting. He is arguably one of the most influential TV and movie producers ever, but Broadcast News is really the only great movie he directed. The others rate somewhere from okay to Spanglish.

However, as a mentor, producer, and sounding board his track record becomes exponentially more impressive.

And don't forget, without him we wouldn't have Wes Anderson as we know him today.

Well, there was Terms of Endearment, but as noted, that and News were...it.

I've only seen Chloe and I started watching Adoration but I had to shut it off because it was so boring.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe Crash, Dead Ringers, or M. Butterfly will be joining?

My guess would be Shivers '75 and Rabid '77, if they do indeed have more Cronenberg titles and plan on releasing a set.

Criterion more than likely doesn't have access to Shivers.
I believe it's with the company that released the original Black Christmas on BD.

Cliff MacMillan of Shout and Scream Factory said this in regards to it Shivers:

But the DO seem to have Rabid.
It was already "soft-announced" by Janus Films in an article a few months ago.

Kwaidan was also on that list, but I think the rest have been upgraded (Au Revoir Les Enfants, Down By Law, Howard's End).

Yeah, forgot to mention the DVD will be non-anamorphic as well (Insomnia, spine #47, was the first anamorphic DVD).

I just received via UPS Kino's The Buster Keaton Collection Blu-ray. While I am very excited about my new acquisition, I continue to wonder why The Cameraman was not included in the collection. Does anybody here know why? Could this possibly be a Criterion Collection release somewhere at a future date?

The Kid was teased in this year's New Year doodle. So it is likely next up; likely very late this year or very early 2014.
