Have only 12 Criterions and haven't watched them more than once yet..

so, based on film + presentation:
My absolute favorite Criterion blu-ray is All that Heaven Allows.
And I'm sure I'll watch it from now on every Christmas time.

But this could be a tie with The Thin Red Line.
(although I don't think I'll watch it as much, because it's an emotionally draining film)

(of course before buying these films I have watched them 3-4 times each)

Hey, you're good at stimulating, as Hercule Poirot called them, "the little gray cells"! Fun question!

My favorite Criterion blu-ray is Nashville, and I've watched it once to date. However, I've watched The Lady Vanishes three times.

My favourite Criterion blu-ray is The Red Shoes, and I've probably watched it about 10 times.

I wonder if we will ever get Ratchatcher upgraded? Or even better more Lynne Ramsay? Morvern Callar is incredible.

They could even add Swimmer short as a supplement, it is an incredible short film which celebrates cinema - I have only seen a low res cop off youtube, so would be amazing to see on bluray!

I wouldn't say no to We Need To Talk About Kevin either, but I have on bluray anyway so no biggie!

Late Spring. A bunch of times.

(Late Spring might be my favorite film of all time, so it made the question easy.)

My first Criterion anything was the Blu-ray of The Red Shoes, and it just so happens to be my favorite. I've watched it at least 6 times since I purchased it. My other favorite releases include The Royal Tenenbaums, The Night of the Hunter, Weekend (2011), City Lights, Frances Ha, and Persona.

Ah yes, Marie Antoinette is one of my most wanted titles on blu. I'd die for it to receive the Criterion treatment. Back in the dvd era it was one of my most watched discs.

I think Criterion should hire everyone here and we should just release everything we want, ignore the rights and money problems lol and go nuts - will be great.

I haven't answered yet.

My absolute favorite Criterion blu-ray is Army of Shadows and I’ve watched it approximately 1 time.

Since becoming a community member here, I have been intent on seeing as many different movies as possible. I'm starting to get the re-watch fever, though, so that could change soon.

Very hard to answer that but in terms of how much I've watched a particular title it's probably Three Colors trilogy. My copy looks like it got hit by a mack truck because i've worn it out.

My absolute favorite Criterion Blu-ray is Army of Shadows, and I’ve watched it approximately 20 times.

20 = a combination of my viewings of this film by way of my old Criterion DVD and my Criterion Blu-ray upgrade.

I've actually watched Le Samouraï more often than I've watched any Criterion other titles, but that film is not yet available on Blu-ray.

Fun question, as replay value doesn't always correspond to the film you think is "best", but the one you reach for when you want some comfort food, when you want a classy choice to share with a new friend or significant other, etc.

I've probably seen CHARADE more times in my life than any other Criterion title, although many of those times were on VHS growing up. Still, out of 30 or so lifetime viewings, maybe 15 on Criterion discs.

Lately THIEF has been getting a lot of play, I've watched it 6 or so times since its recent bd release.

My absolute favorite Criterion blu-ray is Late Spring and I’ve watched it approximately 2 times. My obsession with Ozu started here.

Most watched would probably be The Royal Tenenbaums. Watching it right now, actually.

Special mentions for Kuroneko, Charlie Chaplin films, and Fritz Lang's M.

My favorite box set is Zatoichi and I have watched all 25 films 1 time. I feel like that is a major achievement somehow. Honorable mention for 3 Colors and The Complete Jean Vigo. I guess The Complete Jean Vigo isn't technically a box set, but all 3 shorts and the 1 film (L'Atalante) aren't mentioned often, so I would like to highly recommend that "set".

My favorite single film on blu right now is a 3 way tie between:

Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Blow Out

I have watched each of these titles 3 times so far. IOACAS was one of my rare blind buys, and may be one of my best blu purchases ever.

Another honorable mention: Ran. I have watched the DVD several times. I wish Criterion could release this one on blu.

Please pardon me for getting carried away. It was hard narrowing down my favorite to one title.

I watched Naked Lunch at least 4 times, last year. I bring that, Altered States and Revolver over to my parents when they go out of town and ask me to dog sit, if there aren't any new releases.

re: I've looked through CC for more movies as strange and wonderful as Naked Lunch, but only found Scanners. So, can anyone point out a couple you think I'd like? CC has a really good product, and I wouldn't mind having a few more.
