Since we're getting Mulholland Drive I wonder what the next "most requested" title will be. I'll join those asking for an upgrade of Bicycle Thieves and also add Juliet of the Spirits, Brute Force, and The Naked City. So many upgrades that I want.

Sayles would be great! In addition to Matewan, Lone Star and Limbo -- both badly needed on Blu-ray.

If it's upgrades, then I'm hoping for:

The Browning Version (1951)
Carnival of Souls
I Know Where I'm Going!
Z

Any one of those 4 would be nice. All 4 would be very nice indeed.

Dear God NO!!!! Why would you want Twilight Time to get The Age of Innocence over Criterion? Why would you want Twilight Time to get anything over another label? Tell me you're joking.

1) for a reason I can't say because it's not very safe in this thread
2) the TT will include an isolated score and I'm really interested in this

I agree with all your suggestions. I'd like to see Criterion do a boxed set of David Lean On Dickens and see wonderful upgrades of Oliver Twist and Great Expectations.

Safe? Are you in danger?

Respond with a smiley emoticon of you are ok, or a frowny emoticon if you need us to call 911.

Did people already forget they posted a picture from Clouds of Sils Maria?

That and Llewin Davis in the same month would be amazing.

Yes! to The Browning Version.
Seeing this mentioned reminds me of a chance meeting back in 2002 with the amazing Vanessa Redgrave. Back then, I was a barista at Starbucks and on a Saturday night very close to closing two women walk in. I was making a beverage and I heard this woman inquiring about different teas. She was wearing a large hat and I could not see her face but her voice was so distinct.
I simply said "you sound just like Vanessa Redgrave". She looks right at me and says ever so slowly "I am she". I simply shrugged her off saying "no you're not". Her eyes widened and I snapped into reality seeing it was Miss Redgrave.
Needless to say (and criterion related), I immediately praised her work and brought up her father saying I loved him in "The Lady Vanishes" and my favorite "The Browning Version". I even brought up "Dead Of Night" which would be a great Criterion title.
She was impressed with my film knowledge of her father and we sat down for maybe 6 minutes just chatting about his films, hers too. Ahh a memory I'll cherish.

Although I would like to see the blu-ray upgrade of Bicycle Thieves with more supplements, I hope it is not a single plastic case version. The DVD packaging is one of my favorite Criterion editions.

During the flash sale I purchased Vampyr not realizing that Criterion re-released it with no book. I ended up buying the original set with the book on eBay and now I'm selling my new copy from Criterion.

Packaging matters...at least to me.

Also, had to call out that Llewyn Davis is becoming a Disney Infinity figure:

...kinda What if they made a special Criterion series!

I think Sils Maria is confirmed, the only question is when. Paramount's US dvd just came out in July and I imagine there is some amount of time required to pass before Criterion releases their version.

Also, Assayas next film is also going to feature Kristen Stewart. I wonder if Criterion will try to release Sils Maria near when that film (Personal Shopper) is released to try and capitalize on it's buzz?
