None of Deakins' films are in the collection, correct?

That makes for a fun question (for anyone who wants to answer). If you could add one film to the collection from the films he has been cinematographer on, what film would you add?

definitely The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, although I, admittedly, had to look at his filmography as I have heard his name, but didn't know what films he worked on.

I thought Skyfall was the 3rd best Daniel Craig Bond film, btw... CR, Spectre, Skyfall, then QoS

He was nominated for an oscar 12 times, but never won...

Robbed a bit like Lubezki - least he's starting to be more appreciated. (The Revenant has had some great reviews!)

But then again having an Oscar shouldn't be a selling point, some people have won that havn't deserved it, and others have been ignored from the competition - Oscars are badly voted on IMO and very unfair.

Of my 1,199 blu-rays in my collection, 452 titles or 39% are Criterions. With this last BN sale I am blu-ray complete now.

I'm also sitting on 193 Criterion DVDs. Getting the OOP DVDs has been a pain and very expensive. I still need 165 DVD titles to be blu-ray and DVD complete. Hopefully, in the next 2 years I can be there.

Agree...I am just saying... even if it was chosen random, he could have gotten 2...

Deakins is in the collection - David Mamet's Homicide

I'd choose The Big Lebowski even though it has many releases, just to get a remaster of it without DNR applied.

Thanks. I figured there was a chance some of his work was in the dvd only portion of the collection.
