Got a late start to this but I instantly thought of Three Kings and The New World when I saw the New Years clue. It's funny how only a few days ago, or maybe a week ago I mentioned the former film in response to some backlash against David O'Russell.

I found some artwork related to "Three Kings Day" / "Epiphany" and it doesn't look similar to the Criterion graphic at all as you can see:

It's more likely as people have said that its Kings of the Road, as Three Kings is just way too obvious.

Kings of the Road has the alternative name In the Course of Time. Which I guess they are with the clock in the way

For some reason I don't get Criterion newsletters in my inbox anymore, but is it true that the email for this was addressed to Paul Hackett? If so, that seems like a pretty good confirmation for After Hours (which was rumored in last year's drawing).

A buddy of mine suggested that C. could be Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.

I'm wondering if "C" is The Bling Ring as MifuneFan said earlier. It's not a movie I'd consider to be good though, so I'd be very surprised if it was that.

I have continued to analyze the photo and for some reason thought of Flash Gordon with the "flash" on the side of the planet, but there's no way that 1980 film would be a good candidate, as its a downright awful movie (plus it already has a mediocre blu-ray release).

I can't speak to Bling Ring's (Have yet to see it) quality but if they do Sofia Coppola then Marie Antoinette would make a lot of people happy. I think she's an excellent filmmaker that's often unfairly maligned and charged with nepotism.

Could the dolls clue be Valley of the Dolls or Beyond The Valley of the Dolls? I heard both films are pretty bad.

Speaking of Sofia Coppola, could the angel riding the bomb be The Virgin Suicides?

Really doubt it.

As far as Hint C goes...

I'm hard-pressed to imagine anyone improving on Scream Factory's Blu-ray of Saturn 3, but I'm sure that Criterion could pull it off in style. New interviews with Farrah Fawcett and Kirk Douglas, perhaps?
