As you can see at the bottom of my Criterion.com wish list, that's already out of print.

So, during my now annual viewing of THE PHANTOM CARRIAGE, I had the slightly morbid (yet still amusing) idea that M*A*S*H's Wayne Rogers would have the honor of serving as the grim reaper for all of this coming year. Maybe I should lay off the movies for a while...

Hmm....
But the theatrical cut isn't released unfortunately.

Also, I would love it if that clue for Lone Wolf and cub that you all say which i have no interest in, would be for Bringing Up Baby!

Turns out this is the only screening room in my city/county that is showing it in 70mm and it only seats 178 people with an average sized screen. Pathetic.

Almost the same thing happened to me on Monday, with the same theater and everything! (Since we are basically forum neighbors )

Me and my friends were going to go see it, but for some reason, we didn't buy tickets in advance. So I look on Fandango before we left to see that the shows are sold out. Thank goodness I did, because when you're driving from Washington county, you better make sure that nothing goes wrong.

We bought tickets though and saw it on Wednesday. Highly recommend going to see it in 70mm. The film went off without any projection issues. Fortunately they extended the roadshow here for another week.

I found some artwork related to "Three Kings Day" / "Epiphany" and it doesn't look similar to the Criterion graphic at all as you can see:

It's more likely as people have said that its Kings of the Road, as Three Kings is just way too obvious.
I've been away for holiday but I think you were replying to me referring to Three Kings. I'd bet it's not happening, I just don't see it. It is exciting McCabe & Mrs. Miller may finally be coming out next year though

I also meant to reply to someone who brought up an interesting point in a discussion everyone else abandoned, about theater pre film concerning the medium of film etc. in which I wanted to say that theater is the medium.

Jan 12 can't get here soon enough, have both American Friend and Bitter Rice coming from Best Buy since they were the cheapest. If anyone has found them cheaper than $28 & $23 respectively please post where

It would be awesome if CC got his other films such as Gandahar, MoC said they have no plans to upgrade the DVDs.

Why on Earth would they do a version of that? There's already a pretty stacked SE.

That "UE" is pretty lackluster. It's got a great amount of deleted scenes (almost an hour) but there's little to nothing on the making of the movie and only 1 commentary. Plus, as has been mentioned, no theatrical version.

Unlikely, since it's a drawing of Saturn, not Jupiter.

If McCabe and Mrs. Miller comes out, I'll have to change my "Most Wanted in the Collection" on Criterion.com for the first time since I got an account. Obviously giddy for that one.

It looks like a cat in the baby cart that McCabe is pushing. Wonder if that's a separate clue, or if the lone wolf & cub guesses are wrong?

Un cartoon related, but just noticed that The Treasure is being released by Sundance Selects next week.

It's clear to me that there should be some kind of ROMANIAN NEW WAVE box set through Criterion, who should theoretically have access to some great titles (4 Months. . ., Police Adjective, Beyond the Hills, and now The Treasure). I'm really hoping that something like this comes to light.

It just clicked!

The baby in the picture has to be 4 Months, 3 weeks and 2 Days.

I just realised that The New World is on there, I know it was mentioned but I couldn't see the clue anywhere! Whoo!

I like the way you think.

Btw, looking again at the NY's drawing, it's kind of disappointing that many of the clues/hints are cut and dry. Last year's drawing was way more ambiguous. I was also hoping for The Devils hint (white hoods or something), but oh, well...
