Wowwww, very happy about The Piano Teacher! That's probably it for me. Interested in the Lynch doc but I'll have to watch the thing first.

Nothing earth-shattering but very solid. Especially excited about the Newport Festival and Lynch since I'm living and breathing Twin Peaks right now.

It's a reasonably interesting watch if you're a Lynch fan but idk how anyone could justify paying a full Criterion price for it on its own.

I'm in for Lynch, Rebecca, and The Piano Teacher.

It's pretty obvious Criterion has Rebecca, Notorious, and Spellbound, and I was about to start unloading the MGM/Fox releases, but it looks like a bunch of extras on at least the MGM Rebecca disc are not being carried over to the Criterion, so I may just end up keeping them all. Criterion's is loaded with extras, of course, but not all the same extras.

It's not full price, it's one of the cheaper releases.

I watched the Lynch documentary last week and I was relatively disappointed by it.

I was hoping for more supplements, but I can't blame Criterion for capitalizing on the Lynch/TP hype.

I am a little torn on whether or not I'm glad Criterion is re-releasing OOP titles. Part of me is a sick knowing what I've paid to get spine complete and then seeing the value of some sets/titles drop significantly.

I think it is a good thing because it means more people are going to be able to watch these films. I never thought of collecting movies as an investment.

Surprised to see Rebecca getting 2 BDs for its release despite the movie not being overly long and the extras being mostly old extras.
