I'd be perfectly happy if Criterion released an Edgar Wright boxset with A Fistful of Fingers, which isn't in print.

Wow! I mean, I have nothing against importing. I own a few international discs (heck, I own a Korean StudioCanal copy of The Elephant Man, which is barebones unfortunately). But I like to get the U.S. disc whenever possible (as long as it's a good disc).

I think Friedkin took "Brute Force" and "The Devil and Daniel Webster" along with "8 1/2".

Really excited about "Barry Lyndon" and "Vampyr". Not gonna double dip on "Fire Walk With Me" though.

Holy crap the Newsletter mentions that Vampyr will be released with the screenplay in book form! I'm so glad I held off on buying the DVD edition on ebay...

Yeah the Mike Leigh video is great. I also loved the one with Bong Joon Ho where he very casually stitched Park Chan Wook up for nicking his Medium Cool dvd

So the FWWM extras are just the same things on the series set? No point buying them.

Barry Lyndon and Personal Shopper day 1. Absolutely love the cover to Shopper. Wish that was a poster. Would definitely put on my wall.

But isn't it just the same as the series set, which was also 4K restored? I imagine it's identical

I agree. It's an image one doesn't mess with. Too perfect.

Correct framing I believe as well.
Very glad to see Barry Lyndon in its correct AR.

Mucking about with the original AR is by far my biggest film peeve.

Does it? Mine just has the covers one after the other. The description on Vampyr's page doesn't seem to have been updated since the DVD days.

I know it still lists the book on Criterion.com but is that accurate? I didn't see it mentioned in the newsletter.
