5 hmm? Well, the 5th letter of the alphabet is "E" so it'll be an Eclipse DVD release only. Ray is going to completely lose it now.

I've never posted quesses for announcements, but just looked at Criteron's twitter and saw several photos of Jeanne Moreau posted today and one photo with Robert Ryan as a boxer also posted today. This must mean Elevator to the Gallows upgrade and The Set-Up will be among this month's announcements.

Im really hoping we get more Kurosawa. At this rate, it will take 2 decades to have them all on blu ray. I'm hoping for either Dersu Uzala or Stray Dog. I'd be happy with anything, mind you, except his post-Ran movies (I never liked Dreams, and the wait for a new good Kurosawa movie since Ikiru has been excruciating!).

Just because of this post they'll finally announce Madadayo (which I would gladly purchase).

Try being a Fellini fan

Been dying for his films on blu ray but all they've given us since La Dolce Vita are Roma and Satyricon, my two least favourites of his work I've seen (I havent seen anything past And The Ship Sails On). Just give us La Strada damnit!
