In no order...

La Dolce Vita
The 400 Blows
City Lights
Days of Heaven
McCabe and Mrs Miller
Paris, Texas
La Haine
High and Low
Stalker
Naked

"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", "8 1/2", "Rififi", "Mulholland Drive", "The Night of the Hunter", "Nashville", "The Killing", "Le Samourai", "Sweet Smell of Success", "The Thin Blue Line" could easily make my top 10 as well. So many great titles.

Edit: "Down by Law" and "Persona" are two others that could easily be in my top 10 depending on my mood.

How many Criterion titles do you guys have in non-Criterion editions (DVD and/or BD)?

I have about 15 or so titles that I either bought before Criterion editions came along or because I went for UK versions instead (BFI or Eureka MoC).

Wow, just ten?

On The Waterfront
The Sweet Smell of Success
Mulholland Drive
The Asphalt Jungle
City Lights
Charade
The New World
Seven Samurai
Le silence de la mer
Trois couleurs: Bleu

I have a lot to watch yet. Ask me in a month, and this list probably changes some. So many great films, it's almost impossible to just narrow it down to ten.

Others right behind those ten right now:

Vivre sa vie
Paths of Glory
Persona
It Happened One Night
The 400 Blows

I’ve been trying to watch more and more. I’m kind of choosing at random. I haven’t seen very many. I don’t own many as well. I literally only have like five that I own currently. I own Ikiru, Blue is the Warmest Color, The Ice Storm, Pan’s Labyrinth, and The Bridge. I’ve enjoyed every single one of them. In fact, I watched The Bridge tonight. Others I’ve seen but don’t own get. 12 Angry Men, A Night to Remember, 3 Women, Badlands, Weekend (2011), Election, The Breakfast Club, The Silence of the Lambs, The 400 Blows, My Beautiful Laundrette, and The Night of the Hunter... I’ve really enjoyed them all. Do you guys have any suggestions on things I should watch next? Feel free to give a list. Haha.

Seven Samurai is a must if you liked Ikiru. Can't go wrong with any of the Kurosawa films in the Collection.
Day For Night is another great Truffaut flick.
Anatomy of a Murder, directed by Otto Preminger, is fantastic. Great to pair with 12 Angry Men.
Two great selections from birthday boy Kirk Douglas, Ace in the Hole (Billy Wilder) and the anti-war film Paths of Glory, directed by Stanley Kubrick.
Have you seen any Ingmar Bergman films? Both The Seventh Seal and Persona are brilliant. Bergman is all over the collection. But Fanny and Alexander might be a great place to start.
Sweet Smell of Success is riveting, too. One of my favorite films in the collection. Alexander Mackendrick directs Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis.
If you haven't seen Mulholland Drive, that's an easy choice, for me, at least. You'll be thinking about it long after the credits roll.
My last suggestion would be Charade, the best Hitchcock film not directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Audrey Hepburn. Cary Grant. Paris. Enough said.

I have more, but those are some good ones to start off with.

It's extremely difficult to narrow it down to 10 (out of the ones I've watched so far), but here it goes (in no particular order)...

Charade
Foreign Correspondent
Gilda
It Happened One Night
Kiss Me Deadly
Moonrise Kingdom
On the Waterfront
Rebecca

It seems like it's every week someone asks people for a top 10 list..

If they ever get Spinal Tap back, all the lists should go to 11.

I think you do lists when you have nothing more to talk about.

I feel a sad irony that 20th Century-Fox's VALLEY OF THE DOLLS has a Criterion edition BD, but my favorite Fox film, '68s PLANET OF THE APES, will probably never get a Criterion edition. Damn them all to hell.

You can remove that 'probably' when Disney owns it in a couple of months.
