The only films that were re-released were Ace in the Hole, L'eclisse, Red River, Rififi, and Scanners, which were only available in Dual-Format editions.

Unless you're referring to films like The Breakfast Club and Dead Man, which had Blu-ray releases by another studio, but were given a new spine by Criterion.

I would pay a pretty penny for a Peter Bogdanovich box set. Paper Moon, The Last Picture Show and What's Up, Doc? Would be absolutely lovely. Of course, they should be released individually, too, as I know a good number of people are clamoring for LPS by itself. Just give me a nice collection with a box exclusive booklet incorporating some of his film criticisms, or maybe his recollections of his time with Orson Welles.

With Criterion’s new StudioCanal deal, I’m hoping they’ll put out Peeping Tom. They released it on DVD back in the day, so it’s possible.

Yeah I really hope Criterion releases Paper Moon. Tatum O'Neal is severely underrepresented on blu ray along with Bogdanovich. I'd also love The Bad News Bears (1976) and Little Darlings.

Recently saw Dreyer's DAY OF WRATH; such an amazing film.

I'll gladly join theater dreamer and MassiveMovieBuff in their call for a release of PAPER MOON and add yet another Bogdanovich: TARGETS, which features Boris Karloff in one of his last (and most touching) performances.

Agree, Day of Wrath is outstanding- definitely the Dreyer film I rewatch the most. Hopefully Criterion upgrades this soon.

The BFI release is great & includes Ordet, Gertrud & 7 (of 8) of his short films as well as Master of the House (both Danish & English versions) in 1080p UNLIKE Criterion which ONLY has it in 1080i.

Well worth getting.
