I'n surprised by how much is selling out during this flash sale. This is my first flash sale, is that the norm? All of the below titles I picked up are now sold out.

The Red Shoes
The Night of The Hunter
Only Angels Have Wings
Classic Hitchcock
It Happened One Night
Charade
City Lights

I was going to make another order tonight of On The Waterfront, In The Mood For Love, and Black Narcissus and those three are also now sold out. Something to look forward to next time then. Nice to see how active the flash sales are. I hope everyone was able to get what they wanted.

Finally used this as an opportunity to upgrade my DVD copies of Vampyr and The Virgin Spring; also picked up La vérité while I was at it. Great deal, only $59 with free shipping.

Not unusual. There have been times where nearly half the items would be gone by the end though there are a ton more titles now. The one thing I've been a little surprised by is the lack of any international reach since we know the distribution warehouse that handles Criterion orders certainly does international orders for B&N, Deep Discount, and others.

The last couple sales, many items would go OOS in the initial rush, but would often reappear the on the 2nd day for the home stretch.

In the earlier sales most of time once it was gone, it was dead for the duration.

I am very surprised to see the Bergman set still available 12 hours in. And also pleased for everyone who missed it on release at 50% off, and were waiting patiently for this sale (I assume they all pulled the trigger ASAP just in case).

Thanks for the recommendations, guys! Unfortunately, Criterion doesn't believe in backorders so I'll have to wait for the July B&N Sale. The 7 I got today is a good haul though:

Au Hasard Balthazar (I feel like I really took a chance on this because the premise about a donkey doesn't sound too appealing to me but Bresson is a master)
