I just seriously am excited about what they’ve done with the release. Like you, have a good feeling about today.

I just bought this at an antique store on DVD. So if they announce this... you’re welcome.

I want to purchase the Disney set but I'd rather have it by itself.

I'm not even going to mention Come and See this month, so not to jinx it...

...but how about Peter Brook's Marat/Sade? At this point, I don't see anyone else releasing it.

This probably means Do the Right Thing is being announced today.

If they announce Come and See today, I will pay full MSRP, even if it is released a day after the B&N sale ends. I have been holding off from buying the DVD for nearly 10 years, waiting patiently for a blu release.

Maybe you need to make the sacrifice and buy the DVD to please the Criterion Gods so they will upgrade to Blu-ray!

[Show spoiler]

It and baseball are the only reasons I have cable. I haven't yet seen As You Desire Me. The other Garbo's I've yet to see are The Joyless Street, The Single Standard, Romance, Inspiration, As You Desire Me, The Painted Veil, Conquest, and Two-Faced Woman.

Same. It would be an epic month if Pandora's Box and The Lady Eve would come out in the same month.

I'm not exaggerating and this is definitely NOT hyperbole: I haven't thought of Marat/Sade in an absolutely minimum 35 years. And that's the minimum! I saw it I believe once, and I can say with certainty that I have no idea where I saw it, or under what circumstances.

Now I have something else that I definitely need tp see one of these days, and soon.

I probably should, if that's what it is going to take. I borrowed it from a friend to watch it the first time, X number of years ago.

Just added this to my Criterion Channel list. Maybe that'll work.

It's on Youtube! But yeah, the ideal would be a Blu-ray release -- good movie with an intense performance from a very young Glenda Jackson.

Still no announcement on 'Cold War' (2018) on blu ray in region A. I think Lionsgate have the rights, which might mean a 4K release since Lionsgate give 4K releases to the most random movies. It also seems like the type of fare Criterion might release, and they might make a bid to get the rights.

Either way, it was my favourite movie of last year and I would like it on my shelf please.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but More (1969) aired on TCM with Criterion branding recently along with Maitresse (already on DVD). Maybe we're getting more Schroeder eventually?

That isn’t the first time for MORE and it has been rumored before. I think it’s a matter of time, but potentially a rights issue with the Pink Floyd soundtrack. Remarkable film about Ibiza culture.
