Maybe WWWK and Haxan. Was never a big fan of either, but second chances and all. Or, 5th chance for Haxan. I was hoping for more horror this year. Still waiting on Jigoku, Fiend, Equinox, or an upgrade of the Monsters and Mayhem boxset.

Would be nice if the TOHO announcement is for Godzilla and Kurosawa.

I'm not sure what your point is here. They release movies, some movies you want from them, some you don't.

He doesn't want Godzilla, I do. I don't care about House of Games nor Polyester, but I didn't complain about them being announced.

Criterion releases all kinds of things and complaining that they are releasing a Godzilla set (and that it may be spine 1000) seems quite childish.

And if it is a Godzilla set, that IS special because we have never gotten the Showa era released by one company in the US. It's always been a mixed bag of companies with releases that don't have matching packaging, matching styles, matching quality, matching subtitles, etc.
