That was my first thought, but I feel like Criterion newsletter clues rarely are for their upgrade titles. It would be a kind of obtuse clue to represent that too. Single Ladies definitely seems to be the thing that Criterion is going for here, rather than Beyonce herself, so I do think An Unmarried Woman makes more sense.

The Barnes and Noble sale is on their site now, the 50% off criterion banner comes up, but it doesn’t seem that they have changed the pricing yet. Sale ends 12/1. I was hoping they might extend it a bit, but not this time.

Being Halloween, I was considering throwing in another horror film. But, I just got The Graduate from the recent flash sale (blind buy) and watched that instead and it blew my mind. What a film!
